Our materials
Four fibres. No compromises.
Cotton, wool and cashmere today, silk from spring — where each one comes from, and why we chose it.
Where every piece begins.
Cotton
Knitted and woven in China
Most of our pieces contain cotton and every fabric is carefully chosen and tested for months to ensure its safety and softness against the skin. We stay away from toxic chemicals as much as we can and are working hard to provide more organic cotton options.
100% natural · Biodegradable · Soft to skin
Silk Crepe
Woven · Arriving in spring
Silk is the only natural fibre that is both a filament and a protein. Its crepe variant — twisted under tension then relaxed — produces a matte, weighted drape that moves unlike anything synthetic can replicate. Where a style calls for stretch and close fit, we blend in up to 5% spandex — just enough to let the fabric move with you.
Protein fibre · Temperature-regulating · Biodegradable
Merino Wool
Mulesing-free
We use only Merino — fine enough to wear against skin without itch, strong enough to hold structure over years of wear. Wool is self-cleaning, naturally odour-resistant, and returns to the soil at the end of its life.
Mulesing-free · Self-cleaning · Compostable
Cashmere
Hand-combed
True cashmere comes from the soft undercoat of the cashmere goat, combed — never shorn — once a year in spring. Each goat yields only around 150 grams a year, which is why cashmere is so precious. We use Grade-A fibres, fine enough to wear directly against the skin.
